It all started with a passion for pizza. As locals of the New Haven, Connecticut area, currently living in Cheshire, we were raised on thin crust, fresh tomato sauce, and only the best mozzarella. After noticing how hard pressed we were to find what we so lovingly refer to as apizza (or ahh-beetz) outside of New Haven, we decided to take matters into our own hands. South Town brings you authentic New Haven Style Apizza.

Is our pizza or grinder burnt? No, it is not burnt but like all true New Haven Style Apizza it is going to be cooked well. Meaning it is cooked to a crisp, with some dark edges and spots of charring on the crust and the bottom of the pie. If you prefer a lesser cook, please let us know – we do cook our pizzas and our grinders well unless otherwise specified.

Our location at  2211 Meriden Waterbury Turnpike, Plantsville, CT

Marion is a village of Southington located near Home Depot and the TA Travel Center and is easily accessible from Cheshire, Southington, and Wolcott.
